My name is David Westerman. I started my full time career as a University Police Officer in 1996. Two years later, I took over the Firearms Training Program. I attended the Smith & Wesson Firearms Training Academy, the FBI Firearms Instructor Certification Program, and also received training from Glock Firearms.

I've completed Glock operators course, Glocks instructors course and MPTC red dot instructor course.
 

After moving into Municipal Policing, I continued my training as a Certified Firearms Instructor and have recently become a RAD Instructor.

My goal is to train people to be comfortable with a firearm, some basic defensive tactics, and also to teach them how to safely own a firearm kept in the home or carrying a firearm for self defense. Let’s schedule a time to get you started on Phase 1 of training.
